Valotronics – Shipping Policy

Fast, reliable nationwide delivery across South Africa with clear timelines and simple pricing.

1. Nationwide Shipping
   We deliver anywhere in South Africa using trusted, insured couriers.
2. Office Collection
   Address: 74 Gardiner Avenue, Brakpan, Gauteng, 1541
   Availability: Orders are usually ready within 1–2 working days after processing.
   Same-day collection in Midrand may be possible by prior arrangement.
3. Shipping Cost
   Standard Nationwide: Flat rate of R99
   Free Shipping: Orders over R2,500
   Note: Orders containing batteries or heavy/bulky items may incur additional surcharges due to weight/size (billed separately).
4. Delivery Times
   Processing: 1–2 business days after payment
   Gauteng: 1–3 working days
   Western Cape / KZN: 2–4 working days
   Other Areas: 2–5 working days
5. Shipping Restrictions
   No delivery to PO Boxes. Use a valid street address.
6. Customer-Arranged Couriers
   You may arrange your own courier. Contact us to coordinate packaging and pickup.

Valotronics – Refunds, Returns & Cancellation of Agreement

Clear, fair terms aligned with South Africa’s Consumer Protection Act (CPA). The CPA prevails where applicable.

1. Cancellation & Returns
   Cancel/return within seven (7) business days of receipt. Items must be unused, unopened, and in original packaging.
2. How to Notify Us
   Email written notice with order number, delivery details, and item(s) to be returned. Phone notifications are not sufficient.
3. Return Shipping Costs
   Customer is responsible for return shipping and safe packaging.
4. Risk & Insurance
   Risk remains with the customer until Valotronics signs for the return. Consider transit insurance.
5. Refund Processing Time
   Within thirty (30) days of receipt/inspection. Refund via original payment method unless agreed otherwise.
6. Deductions & Charges
   Delivery/collection costs and payment processor fees may be deducted where applicable.
7. Timing of Returns
   Goods must be dispatched back within seven (7) days of written cancellation.
8. Restocking Fee
   May apply if packaging is opened or not in original condition (communicated before refund).
9. Non-Refundable Items
   Opened software and certain consumables unless a hidden fault exists.
10. Custom-Built Computers
    50% non-refundable deposit. Assembly costs and non-returnable parts deducted if cancelled.
11. Cancellation Fees
    Standard 5% cancellation fee after order confirmation (except CPA cooling-off within 7 business days). Transit/handling may apply.
12. Handling Fee (Non-CPA)
    Up to 20% for non-CPA returns to cover inspection/repackaging/admin.
13. Quality Issues & DOA
    Assisted per manufacturer policy. Remedies include repair/replacement/refund as required by law.
14. Proof of Purchase
    Keep your order number/invoice.
