Payment Policy
Clear, secure payment options with fast processing and transparent terms.
1. Accepted Payment Methods
- EFT / Bank Transfer — pay directly from your bank account using your Order Number as reference.
- Peach Payments — secure online gateway for cards, Scan to Pay and supported digital wallets.
- Ozow Instant EFT — pay safely from your bank without using a card.
- PayFast Gateway — Visa/Mastercard and supported alternative payment methods with 3-D Secure.
- Store Credit / Voucher — when available and applicable to the order.
We do not offer cash on delivery. Dispatch occurs after payment is received and verified.
2. Payment Processing & Order Release
- EFT: Orders are queued for dispatch once funds reflect in our account. Sending proof of payment to sales@valotronics.co.za helps us allocate stock.
- Online gateways (Peach Payments, Ozow, PayFast): Orders are released after the gateway confirms and settles payment. Risk checks, failed authentication or banking delays may affect release times.
- Cut-off times: Payments reflecting after business hours or on weekends/public holidays are processed on the next working day.
3. EFT / Bank Transfer Instructions
- Use your Order Number as the payment reference.
- Email proof of payment to sales@valotronics.co.za.
- Unpaid orders may be auto-cancelled after 3 business days if no payment is received.
Bank details are provided at checkout and on your order confirmation email.

We’re working on a dedicated Capitec account to make EFTs even easier. For now, please use the FNB details above for bank transfers.
4. Security & Fraud Prevention
- All checkout pages are protected by SSL encryption.
- 3-D Secure is required for card transactions.
- Orders may undergo risk screening. We may request ID, proof of address or proof of payment before release.
- Valotronics reserves the right to cancel and refund any payment that fails verification.
5. Currency, VAT & Pricing
- All prices are listed in ZAR (South African Rand).
- Unless otherwise stated, prices are VAT inclusive.
- We strive for accuracy, but reserve the right to correct pricing or availability errors. In such cases, you may accept the corrected amount or receive a full refund.
6. Refunds & Reversals
- Refunds are processed to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
- EFT refunds typically reflect within 2–5 business days; card refunds may take 5–10 business days depending on the issuing bank.
- Where applicable, bank/card processing fees charged to Valotronics may be deducted, consistent with our Returns & Refunds Policy.
7. Chargebacks & Disputes
- Please contact us first for any billing issue so we can resolve it quickly.
- If a chargeback is lodged, we will submit order and delivery evidence to the payment processor.
- Accounts involved in fraudulent activity may be restricted.
8. Privacy
We handle your personal and payment information in accordance with POPIA. Sensitive data is processed only for the purpose of completing your order and fraud prevention.
