Delivering both speed and capacity, the Lockerstor 8 Gen3 8-Bay NAS Enclosure from Asustor offers users the capabilities to take on almost any project. In addition to featuring eight 2.5/3.5″ SATA drive bays, this high-performance network storage enclosure has four M.2 2280 NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD slots that may be configured for cache or storage. You can also mix and match M.2 configurations and set up RAID modes depending on your needs. The dual 10Gb Ethernet ports support SMB multichannel technology, which allows you to combine their throughput to reach read speeds of up to 2005 MB/s and write speeds of up to 1090 MB/s, when configured in RAID 5.

Powered by a 2.3 GHz AMD Ryzen V3C14 Quad-Core processor with 16GB of 4800 MHz DDR5 ECC memory, the Lockerstor 68 Gen3 also features a PCIe 4.0 x4 slot for a 10Gb Ethernet card for even greater performance. The two memory slots support up to 64GB total. Other features include two 40 Gb/s USB4 ports and three 10 Gb/s USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 slots.
